Main + Division provides BIM services and consulting based out of the Bay Area, California.

With extensive experience M+D was started to provide detailing as a service to MEP contractors, but has expanded to provide BIM and coordination efforts as well as consulting to assist various companies in the construction industry.

Taking M+D from thought to fruition meant a vast amount of front-end work to provide the best modeling and deliverable environment for an MEP contractor. That meant a lot of template work; graphic templates for shop and fabrication drawings, editing items to calculate fixture unit loading, report creation to track those units, as well as the normal bill of materials, cut sheets, etc. Hours of scripting involved to help with items such as quality control and item breakdowns.

With all that work meant testing. What's left is a MEP focused, design-build template that eases the common pains of MEP projects such as fixture loading and RFIs.
